Fortunata Ore Laura, 64, is a woman who has dedicated her life to artisanal work and caring for her family. A resident of “La Cumbre”, Mz Lt1, she is the mother of six children: three girls and three boys, who have always been her greatest pride. From a very young age, Fortunata has proven to be a hard-working and committed person, qualities that are reflected in her ability to knit with wool. Her winter sweaters and hats are not just clothing but true works of art, in which she combines ancestral techniques with modern touches that make each piece unique.
Over the years, she has perfected her skills, expanding her portfolio to include embroidered tablecloths, which are known for their delicacy and the level of detail that only an artisan with decades of experience can offer. However, her greatest wish is to be able to receive more orders to continue working from home, a space in which she feels comfortable and where she can continue creating calmly and with dedication.

Fortunata’s dream is to see her art cross borders and reach people who value the effort and tradition that each of her products represents. Her passion for weaving has not only kept her active and connected to her roots, but has also allowed her to generate income for herself and her family. Today, Fortunata continues to work with the same dedication as always, looking for opportunities to grow her business and share her art with the world.
