Zenaida Fernandéz

Zenaida Fernández Ore, a 37-year-old woman, was born in the department of Apurímac, province of Andahuaylas. As a mother of three children, two of them already in college and a 6-year-old with a disability, Zenaida is an example of strength and perseverance. Her dedication as a mother is complemented by her passion for crocheting, a skill that she has developed with skill and love over the years. From her home, Zenaida knits beautiful garments such as sweaters, scarves, and caps, each one of them handmade with high-quality materials and a unique touch of creativity.

Over time, she has managed to make her work not only a hobby but a source of income that allows her to support her family. However, Zenaida dreams of much more: her vision is to grow as an entrepreneur and be able to sell her products to a wider market, with the goal of exporting her fabrics abroad. Her dedication and artisanal skills have made her a reference for her region’s textile culture, and her entrepreneurial spirit drives her to seek new opportunities that allow her to improve her family’s life and position herself as a successful businesswoman. Zenaida remains firm in her goal of sharing her art with the world, carrying with her a little piece of the cultural wealth of Apurímac in each piece.
